How chat.repair works

A second opinion before you hit send. Paste a draft, get clearer wording and tone cues, and decide what to keep.

  1. Paste your draft

Have a message, email, or AI prompt that doesn't sound quite right? Paste it into the chat box. No account or special formatting needed.

  2. Get a vibe check

chat.repair uses AI to review your wording. Depending on the request, it can suggest a rewrite and show clarity scores, tone notes, or possible communication risks.

  3. Make it yours

Read the suggestion, copy what helps, and edit the rest. You know the situation better than the AI does.

What can you use it for?

  • Chats: Make a message clearer without sounding like a robot.
  • Emails: Tidy up a draft so the point comes through.
  • AI prompts: Make your instructions easier for an AI to follow.

A small example

BeforeHey, did you see my email? Need an answer.

Possible rewriteHi, just checking whether you had a chance to look at my email. Could you let me know when you have a moment?

One possible edit — the right tone depends on your relationship and situation.

A note on privacy and accuracy

Your on-screen conversation resets when you refresh or start a new chat, but submitted messages and replies are stored by the service for five years. Recent context is sent to an AI provider. Don't paste passwords, identity numbers, or other secrets. AI suggestions can be wrong, so review them before you send.
